PASTOR JASON M. MURRAY, J.D.

Jason M. Murray is a dynamic leader, attorney, entrepreneur, Bible teacher and provocative thinker who serves as an ordained minister and Lead Pastor at The Soul Saving Station of Christ's Crusaders of Florida, Inc. where his father, Bishop James M. Murray, is the President & Chief Executive Officer.  He serves as President of the Men's Department and President of the Youth Department at the Church.  In addition, Jason is Superintendent of the Sunday School and holds the positions of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for the Church. Currently, Jason serves as the Chairman of the Board of Elders for the Soul Saving Station for Every Nation of the Christ Crusaders of America, International, Inc.

 

He is a Partner with the national law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and provides a range of legal services to religious organizations, faith-based non-profit entities, churches, church ministries, church executives and clergy.  Jason also practices in the area of franchise and distribution law and provides counsel and assistance with creating, managing, licensing, protecting and enforcing franchised business relationships, product distribution systems and dealership networks.  Additionally, he practices in the area of general commercial litigation in state and federal courts including intellectual property, real property, securities, and insurance matters.  Jason is an arbitrator and member of the American Arbitration Association Commercial Arbitrator Panel.

 

Jason has served with distinction as an editor for several American Bar Association publications and has authored a number of articles and papers.  Additionally, Jason is an active member of the Dade County Bar Association and served as the organization's 99th President.  He also served as the 17th President of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association.  Jason is "AV rated Preeminent" by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America; Florida Super Lawyers; and Franchise Times magazine's Legal Eagles Hall of Fame.  A highly sought after speaker, Jason has traveled the country speaking on legal issues and sharing the Gospel of the Kingdom.  From Florida to California and many places in between, God has taken Jason around the country to speak to business executives, lawyers and various church groups.

 

Jason graduated from Duke University in 1988 with a B.A. degree in History, Political Science and English.  He received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1991.  After graduation from law school, Jason served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Joseph W. Hatchett, United States Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 1991 to 1992.  He is pursuing his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School.  Jason is married to Dale Ellen Murray and they are the proud parents of Jason M. Murray, Jr. and Miles J. Murray.
