James M. Murray was licensed and ordained as a minister on July 5, 1973. After he was ordained as a minister, God called him to the office of Assistant Pastor. Specifically, God called Bishop.Murray to assist and learn from the great leadership of the Pastor and founder of The Soul Saving Station of Christ's Crusaders of Florida, Inc., Carolyn Sheffield. This great woman of God was truly an example to Bishop Murray in that she preached and lived a life of holiness and dedication to God. Pastor Sheffield's integrity and commitment to God helped Bishop Murray to stand through many years of service.

On December 2, 1998 God called home Dr. Murray's beloved mentor and elevated him to the office of Pastor. After his twnty-five years of faithful service as the Assistant Pastor, Bishop Murray was officially installed as Senior Pastor of The Soul Saving Station of Christ's Crusaders of Florida, Inc. on March 13, 1999. Since he has been in full time ministry, God has elevated Bishop Murray to numerous leadership positions within the body of Christ.

Jason M. Murray is a dynamic leader, attorney, entrepreneur, Bible teacher and provocative thinker who serves as an ordained minister and Lead Pastor at The Soul Saving Station of Christ's Crusaders of Florida, Inc. where his father, Bishop James M. Murray, is the President & Chief Executive Officer. He serves as President of the Men's Department and President of the Youth Department at the Church. In addition, Jason is Superintendent of the Sunday School and holds the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for the Church. Jason also serves as Chairman of the Board of Elders for the international fellowship of Soul Saving Station for Every Nation of the Christ Crusaders of America International, Inc.

He is a Partner with the national law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP and provides a range of legal services to religious organizations, faith-based non-profit entities, churches, church ministries, church executives and clergy. Jason also practices in the area of franchise and distribution law and provides counsel and assistance with creating, managing, licensing, protecting and enforcing franchised business relationships, product distribution systems and dealership networks. Additionally, he practices in the area of general commercial litigation in state and federal courts including intellectual property, real property, securities, and insurance matters. Jason is an arbitrator and member of the American Arbitration Association Commercial Arbitrator Panel.

The Soul Saving Station of Christ's Crusaders of Florida, Inc. is one of many churches outreaching from the first Soul Saving Station, founded in New York by Bishop and Mrs. Billy Roberts. The name "Soul Saving Station" was inspired by the Holy Spirit, who illustrated to Bishop Roberts the parallel between a filling station where drivers filled their automobiles with gasoline to a "soul filling station" where hurting, hungry souls might come to fill empty hearts with God's Spirit. Just as an automobile requires gasoline to operate, men and women require a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and constant infilling with the Holy Spirit to operate as God intended. Thus, "Soul Saving Station for Every Nation" was intended to be a place of refuge for the spiritually hungry of all nations and all walks of life. It was intended to be a place where the seeker could find new life and new hope in Christ Jesus and where souls might be filled with the power of God. Since that original church was founded in 1942, Soul Saving Station For Every Nation has experienced growth and now has member churches around the world.

In January 1951, a young woman called to the ministry named Carolyn Sheffield accepted the direction and leading of the Holy Spirit to leave New York and go to Opa Locka, Florida in order to start a Soul Saving Station. The Soul Saving Station of Christ’s Crusaders of Florida began in an old frame house in the adjacent block to our present location. It moved from the house into the street, then under a tree, and then to an old storefront. After the little storefront, it moved into its present building. Mother Carolyn Sheffield’s faith in God and determination to do His will in the face of persecution and great trials, together with the steadfast support of those early prayer warriors who stood by her side in those early rough years, have enabled a small mission outreach that first held church services under a tree on the side of the road to grow into the powerful, Bible-based, Christ-centered ministry you see today. We have watched God bless and mature his people, and many have ventured forth from this place to begin new ministries as God has led them.

On December 2, 1998, our beloved Pastor and Founder departed this world to be with the Lord. She is gone but the work still continues; the vision will be fulfilled. We will always remember her frequent words of encouragement: "Stand on the Word, Wait on God, and Seek the Anointing." Bishop James M. Murray, who was installed as the Senior Pastor on March 13, 1999, served as Pastor Sheffield's Assistant Pastor for over twenty-five years and gained immeasurably from her leadership and example. Bishop Murray accepted the call from God to take up the responsibilities of leadership in his own right as Senior Pastor with courage, humility and prayer. On November 2, 2019, God elevated Bishop Murray's son, Rev. Jason M. Murray, to the office of Lead Pastor after he had served as the Assistant Pastor to his father. Having served under both Mother Carolyn Sheffield and Bishop James Murray, Pastor Jason Murray has accepted God's charge to lead the people of God forward into God's purpose.
